Mary, an 80-year ogbld woman brought to the Emergency Department. She was outside walking on a dark, cold November rainy evening with slippers and a housecoat. She can tell you her name, which is Mary Jones, but not where she lives, her birthday, or who her family is. On exam, her feet are swollen, vitals abnormal (low temperature and blood pressure). Is this delirium or dementia? Or both?
